KAPAYCHAMKAM
- Is the uprooting of all weeds, vines, and shrubs growing between the trees in the farm lot for the years cultivation.
KAPAYCHAYU
- means cutting the trees on the cleared farm lot (chinamkaman)
KAPAYAKAW
- Is the removal of the cut trees and brunches from the farm it self. These are thrown piled up one on top of the other on the farm fringes.
KAPAYDALAMSAM/KAPAYSUSUH
- means to burn things. it refers to the burning of the dry weeds, twigs and leaves of shrubs and trees w/c are piled during the kapayakaw.
KAPAYIPED
- small terraces are piled the remaining farm dirt to farm dirt terraces.
KAPAYSAPAD
- means uprooting excess stumps by digging up and cutting of the roots.
KAPANLAVUK
- refers to the process of softening the cleared surface. Kapaylawang,is a similar activity ,only, they use craw bar to loosen the soil.
KAPANGHUVANG
- is the process of softening and placing marks in w/c the uvi or dukay seedlings are to be planted.
- dukay (spiny yum), the space (huvang) are further apart, not in line w/ the uvi (yum/ube) rows.
KAPAMALTAK
- is the process of choosing and cutting of the good uvi seedlings to be planted in kapaymuha
VINALTAK
- is the uvi seedling itself
KAPAYMUHA
- the process of planting uvi or dukay seedlings.
- dukay is planted inverted.
